New Website Launched to Monitor French Duty of Vigilance Law

Sherpa and CCFD-Terre Solidaire recently launched a new website to identify and monitor companies that are subject to the French duty of vigilance law. The law requires companies with at least 5,000 employees in France or 10,000 employees worldwide, to identify and prevent negative human rights and environmental impacts of their operations. The French government has not set up any sort of compliance mechanism, and the website, vigilance-plan.org, is designed to give stakeholders access to existing vigilance plans and enable civil society to keep the list up to date.
