VCMS Director, Liberty Shared

Ayesha Lissanevitch is the VCMS Director for Liberty Shared, based out of Kathmandu, Nepal. She has extensive experience in founding and managing businesses that are deep-rooted in social entrepreneurship ideologies. She brings these talents to VCMS and to Liberty Shared’s sister project, Freedom Collaborative. Ayesha is passionate about human rights and advocacy and is committed to using data-driven solutions to streamline case management practices and improve the care provided to survivors of exploitation and trafficking. With an educational background in Social Work and Political and Developmental Economics, she is able to use her knowledge and experience to develop and manage programs, especially to influence policy actors in making more informed decisions. With a vision to eradicate modern slavery, Ayesha fights to empower the marginalized so they become more self-reliant and organized. It is her hope that this will increase their capacity to fight for their rights. She is Liberty Shared’s Asia source pertaining to VCMS, anti-trafficking efforts, and international development progress in the region.
