Leanne is Head of Human and Labour Rights Governance at Diginex Solutions and leads the company’s ground-breaking work leveraging social impact technology to combat forced labour around the world.
Leanne has a Juris Doctor with a specialization in Labour Law and is a long-standing advocate in the fight to end modern slavery having spent close to a decade at the International Labor Organization (ILO) where she designed and launched global projects to prevent the trafficking of women and children. She also worked with world’s largest brands and retailers to improve working conditions in garment global supply chains during her time with the Better Work Programme – a joint initiative with the ILO and the International Finance Corporation.
Most recently, Leanne was Vice-President of Sustainability at the Fung Group, where she led compliance and sustainability-related strategy and policy development and gained first-hand experience monitoring and remediation labour issues in global supply chains.
