Maria Savel is Editor for Delta 8.7 – The Alliance 8.7 Knowledge Platform at the Centre for Policy Research.

Prior to joining the Centre for Policy Research, Ms Savel worked as an editor at World Politics Review, an online international affairs journal. There she regularly wrote about European Union politics and defense policy, in addition to commissioning and editing content on all aspects of international affairs. She previously worked in Brussels for a EU-focused communications firm, designing and executing communications strategies and drafting content for EU initiatives around health, transport, research and social policy.

Ms Savel holds a Master’s degree in EU International Affairs and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium and an undergraduate degree in French and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
